05/26/10 -UPDATES...UPDATES...UPDATES!!!

- First off this week AAW has rolled out the summer 2010 schedule and it includes our return to Milan IL at the National Guard Armory on Friday night 6/4. Silas Young, Tyler Black, Jimmy Jacobs and House of Truth will all be appearing. Then we return to Berwyn on Friday night 6/11 as the last stop before "Scars and Stripes 2010" comes to the Eagles Club on Saturday 7/10. Finally the annual "Fate of Eight" tournament will take place on 8/14. Be sure to check the events section at www.AAWrestling.com for ticket info and details.

- Lots of buzz backstage at "Appetite for Destruction" a couple weeks back around the performance of Dan Lawrence in his title match against Silas Young. After being run down and insulted by Silas before the bout, Lawrence took the champion to the limit proving he could hang at the top level of competition. After DL kicked out of Young's PeeGee Waja Plunge finisher the champion grew frustrated and used a steel chair to retain his title. It didn't stop there however as Silas continued his attack after the bell prompting the locker room to come out and pull him off the challenger. AAW officials were quick to sign the rematch and allowed Lawrence to choose the stipulation. On 6/11 in Berwyn it will be Dan Lawrence vs Silas Young in a Dog Collar Chain Match!

- The rumor mill is turning with the news this week that Trik Davis and Danny Daniels will compete on 6/11 in a "pick your partner" match. After Daniels defeated Trik in two straight controversial matches it was decided that each will have an opportunity to choose a tag team partner and settle the score once and for all. The intrique factor picked up tenfold this week when Trik Davis notified the AAW office he has found a partner that will "blow the roof off the Eagles Club". We have now learned that Trik's partner has competed in AAW before and will be returning to the roster. No other info is known at this time. Stay tuned.

- The Tag Team division is the most competitive it has been in years. Tyler Black and Jimmy Jacobs have been turning back challengers and next up is the former two time champions The Northstar Express. Corbin and Cruz will try to regain the belts on June 11th in this exciting first time ever match up. Whoever comes out on top has a list of impressive challengers waiting for them as Zero Gravity, Irish Airborne and the House of Truth are all in line.

- Knight Wagner and the Chan Clan continue to push the issue with Wagner's uncle Derek St. Holmes. Wagner has been trying for months to get the AAW color commentator in a match but St. Holmes has continued to turn the other cheek as he promised his sister he would never face her son in the ring. Wagner is telling people in the locker room he has a plan to make sure this match happens and he will put it into motion soon.

- Shane Hollister continues to rehab after a severe leg injury back in March. Hollister is hoping to return to AAW by years end.

- Also in injury news Ryan Boz continues to work through an arm injury that required major surgery last year. Boz is one of the veterans of the locker room and some are saying this injury may be more serious than he is letting on. More on this as it develops.

- AAW and Dragon Gate USA will return for another double shot weekend on Friday September 24th at the Berwyn Eagles Club for AAW "Defining Moment 2010" and Saturday September 25th at The Congress Theatre for the DGUSA "Untouchable 2010" PPV taping. Stay tuned for some exciting talent announcements.

- Trik Davis vs. Danny Daniels has been signed for 6/11 in Berwyn. Trik Davis and Danny Daniels will be allowed to pick a partner of their choosing in this match. Trik is already telling people in the office that he's found a partner and it will blow the roof off of the Eagles Club.

- Tickets are now available for preorder in the EVENTS section of the site for our return to Berwyn, IL on 6/11.

06/11/09 - AAW and Dragon Gate USA Announcement
June 11th: One of the goals of Dragon Gate USA is to showcase promising talent and help promote quality, reputable independent companies. DGUSA was quick to enter a working agreement with CHIKARA, which will pay benefits to the fans on the very first DGUSA event on 7/25 in Philly with the eight man CHIKARA showcase match. Now DGUSA will partner with two more cutting edge promotions.

AAW has risen as one of the finest organizations with a mix of top indy stars and upcoming talent showcasing a variety of styles. AAW will have its next show tomorrow night at its homebase of the Berwyn Eagles Club, just outside of Chicago in Berwyn, IL. The event will feature an eight team tournament.
